Working with Laura has been like sending our husky/retriever puppy to
finishing school. Her training and problem-solving techniques helped us
navigate the usual growing pains with confidence, and she's been there
to offer practical advice whenever a new phase of Klondike's
development made us wonder, "Where did THAT come from??" The only
drawback has been having to find a new excuse for extending a work
deadline -- I can no longer say, "The dog ate my first draft."

Laura is not so much a dog trainer as a miracle worker. In record
time, our three "hopeless" dogs were putty in her hands. From curbing
excessive barking to teaching our nervous and jittery rescue dog how to
use the stairs, no job was too big or too small. I don't so much
recommend her as wonder how anyone could get along without her.

I train animals in the entertainment industry and am often asked
about private training. I always refer them to Laura because she is
knowledgeable, experienced, and talented. I truly believe in her method
and approach and know that the dogs I send to her will be in good
hands. I myself often seek her advice for dogs I rescue from shelters
that have behavioral issues.

We were very lucky to have found Laura! We needed more help and
guidance to deal with our dog's aggression and she showed us simple and
effective ways to do this. We were amazed at how fast some of the
techniques worked!! Laura not only helped us turn our pet into a more
enjoyable dog, she reduced our frustration and anxiety, both of which
mean a lot to us!!! Thanks, Laura!!"

When we decided we would get 2 Scotty puppies, both female and sisters, we had no idea what was in store for us. We called Laura when they were 11 weeks old (we had had them 3 weeks) and we still rely on her today (the puppies will be 2 on March 2, 2002). She has been able to help us train them but more importantly, she has been able to train us to manage them. Instead of 2 bossy, unruly, territorial terriers, we have 2 loving, playful, companionable dogs who are a joy to have and who get along beautifully with other dogs. We are frequently complimented on our dogs' wonderful behavior and demeanor.
