Pawscast #20: “Nuisance Barking” (28:38) Nuisance barking can be the cause of a lot of aggravation and heartache for dog owners. In most city areas there are noised ordinances, and when a dog barks excessively their owner can face fines and other penalties if it’s reported by their neighbors. But a lot of nuisance barking is the result of a bored, under stimulated dog that’s been left alone for a long period of time, or a dog who’s barking goes unchecked when the owner is home. We explore this noisy topic and possible solutions to the problem. note: “Boredom and Enrichment” also contains helpful information. 11/6/09
