This morning I heard an interview with one of the founders/owners of Pet Airways. It was an interesting interview in which she covered how they came up with the idea, how they found the airline which actually flies the planes, ‘cuz she & her husband don’t do that themselves, and how they care for the animals in their charge. She stated that business is booming and they are booked for the next 2 months, with a waiting list. I sincerely hope this business grows to cover more destinations and serve more species than just cats and dogs. They are working on that, btw, they just don’t want to get in too deep too fast. It’s about time someone did this, I wish them the best of luck!!

I’ve had three people contact me and tell me that they couldn’t get their dogs a flight…that booked up for 2 months thing that you mentioned. I hope they add some flights soon.

I hope they do also. It’s important for small companies like this to be supported, especially in this economy. If they continue to grow I may actually be able to take a vacation one of these years
